- $50 per 1,000 BTU of heating capacity at -8°C — the higher the capacity, the greater the assistance.

Residential energy renovation program
Rénoclimat guides you in your residential renovation projects to improve the energy performance of your home.
- Installation or replacement of an eligible heat pump for existing and new homes.
- Replacement of oil or propane heating with an eligible renewable energy source.
- $50 per 1,000 BTU of heating capacity at -8°C.
- Example: a heat pump at 20,000 BTU/hr at -8°C = $1,000 in financial assistance.
